Information used by the platform

PortalPi Games uses information needed to connect your Pi account, run games and community features, save progress, validate scores and manage platform balances.

• Account and profile: your Pi user identifier and username, login activity, and profile information you choose to provide, such as a profile image. Optional referral or linked community-account features also use the information needed for those connections.
• Gameplay and contributions: played games, saved game state, scores, XP, levels, achievements, check-ins, event entries, reviews and Community Art placements.
• Balances and payments: Coins, TWER Credits and other platform balances; transaction amounts, payment identifiers, status and transaction references. A wallet address is recorded when you provide one for a feature that needs it.
• Connection and security information: account activity timestamps, browser user-agent information, requested paths and a hashed representation of the connection IP address are used by the platform's presence and account systems.

How the information is used

Account information connects your sessions and saved progress to the same player. Gameplay records support progression, leaderboards, events and score validation. Payment records help verify Pi Payments, credit the correct balance and investigate payment discrepancies. Connection information supports service operation, account activity checks and troubleshooting.

Some contributions are public. Your username, score and rank may appear on leaderboards or event pages. Reviews, profile images and Community Art contributions can be visible to other users when you use those features. Avoid putting private information into public contributions.

Browser storage and sessions

The site uses local storage in your browser to remember the sign-in token, referral information, theme, language, dismissed announcements and other interface preferences, including the Community Art brush. This lets you return to your account and keep the choices you made on the same browser.

You can sign out or clear site storage through your browser settings. Clearing local storage can sign you out and reset preferences; it does not by itself delete account records or saved progress held by the platform.

Information sharing and connected services

Pi Network services handle Pi account authentication and the wallet approval flow for Pi Payments. PortalPi receives the identity and payment information needed to verify those actions and connect them to your platform account. Connected games receive the account or session information needed to run the game and save progress.

If you follow a link to Discord or another external service, that service handles the visit under its own terms and privacy policy. Only connect a community account when you want to use the related feature.

Community chat provided by Eligo.chat

The community chat button is available after your PortalPi account has been verified. Opening it asks our server to create a short-lived Eligo.chat session using your verified Pi username. The chat is optional; you can use PortalPi without opening it.

When you open the chat, Eligo receives that username and your browser connects to Eligo's embedded chat service. As with other online services, this connection exposes your IP address and browser/device information to that provider. The embedded service may use storage on its own origin to maintain the chat session and preferences.

Eligo handles the messages you send and the channels you join. Your chat nickname and messages in public channels can be visible to other participants. Your PortalPi sign-in token, Pi authentication access token, wallet address and payment information are not sent to Eligo by this integration. Closing the chat panel can keep the chat connected in the background while you remain signed in; signing out of PortalPi removes the embedded session.

Google advertising and third parties

When Google advertising is enabled on PortalPi, Google and other advertising vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and receive information such as the page URL, IP address and browser or advertising identifiers. These technologies can support ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where enabled, personalized advertising.

Google's advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to show ads based on visits to this site and other sites. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

You can manage or opt out of Google's personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. YourAdChoices provides choices for participating third-party vendors. Browser cookie controls provide additional options. Where advertising consent controls are offered, use them to make, change or withdraw your choices. Available controls depend on the service, browser and region.

Keeping account and transaction records

Account, gameplay, payment and security records remain while needed to operate your account and progression, verify payments, investigate misuse and meet applicable obligations. Some records may need to remain after an account closes, for example to resolve a payment discrepancy or a security issue.

If a data request involves records that must be retained, the team will explain which records are affected and the reason for keeping them.

Questions about your account or data

For privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete your personal data or account, email post@portalpi.games. Include your PortalPi/Pi username and a description of the request so the team can identify the relevant account. The team may need to verify that a request comes from the account holder before handling it.
