About Shadow Ninja
Shadow Ninja is an action survival game in the style of survivor arenas. You move a ninja around the map while your weapons attack automatically. Enemies spawn in growing numbers, and a boss appears near the end of each level. Collect the green gems dropped by enemies to level up during the run and choose new weapons or abilities. Survive until the timer ends to win.
Controls
- Use the on-screen joystick, or drag on the screen, to move the ninja.
- Weapons fire automatically at nearby enemies.
- When you level up during a run, tap one of the offered weapons or abilities.
- Use the menu screens to change equipment and visit the shop between runs.
How to play
- Choose a level and start the run.
- Keep moving to avoid enemies while your weapons attack them.
- Collect green gems to fill the experience bar, then pick an upgrade.
- Prepare for the boss near the end of the level and survive until the timer runs out.
Progression
Weapons include kunai, shurikens, boomerangs, grenades, razor rings and cluster bombs, and abilities include a gem magnet, an energy drink and a speed boost. Equipment and resources carry over between runs. When opened from PortalPi Games with your signed-in account, the shop sells resource packs for PortalPi coins, and each finished run submits its score.
Playing tips
- Never stop moving: standing still lets enemies surround you.
- Move in wide circles so enemies line up behind you and your weapons hit several at once.
- Pick up gems early in the run; the upgrades you choose then make the later waves much easier.
- Later in a level, regular enemies can start throwing weapons too, so keep more distance.
- Upgrade your equipment between runs to raise damage and armour.
