Color Blocks is a colorful puzzle game where you match blocks, clear levels, use boosters, and plan every move to beat harder challenges.

About Color Blocks

Color Blocks is a sliding block puzzle. Coloured blocks of different shapes fill a board surrounded by coloured walls. Drag a block until it touches a wall of the same colour, and the wall absorbs it. Blocks cannot pass through each other, and each level gives you a limited number of moves. Clear every block from the board to win.

Controls

  • Press on a block and drag it in the direction you want it to slide.
  • Release the block; it stops when it meets another block or a wall.
  • Use the power-up buttons for extra moves, undo or a rainbow block.

How to play

  1. Check the move counter and the colours of the walls before starting.
  2. Find a block that has a clear path to a wall of its colour.
  3. Slide it out, then look at which blocks now have a free path.
  4. Remove every block before the moves run out.

Progression

Levels are played in sequence. When opened from PortalPi Games with your signed-in account, your level and a score based on efficient play are saved to the platform, and the Extra Moves, Undo and Rainbow power-ups can be bought with PortalPi coins.

Playing tips

  • Each drag counts as a move, so plan the order of removals instead of moving blocks back and forth.
  • Clear the blocks that sit in front of other blocks first; one removal can open several paths.
  • Undo reverses your last move, which is useful after a block slides further than you intended.
  • The Rainbow power-up turns a block into a rainbow block that can leave through a wall of any colour.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my block not disappear at the wall?

A wall only absorbs blocks of its own colour, and the block must actually reach it.

What happens when I run out of moves?

The level is failed. You can retry it, or buy extra moves before the counter reaches zero.

Does a better solution give a higher score?

Yes. Finishing with moves left over gives a higher level score.
