About Rainbow Sort

Rainbow Sort is a liquid-sorting puzzle. Separate mixed layers until the glasses are filled with a single color. You can pour onto the same top color or into an empty glass, subject to the destination's capacity. Later puzzles introduce more colors, hidden layers and special containers.

Controls

• Select a glass containing liquid, then select a destination to pour.
• Select the same glass again to cancel your selection.
• Use the displayed undo and hint controls when they are available.

How to play

1. Identify which top colors can be combined and which glasses have spare capacity.
2. Pour matching top layers together, preserving an empty glass for temporary storage where possible.
3. Reveal hidden layers through valid pours and follow a special container's target color when one appears.
4. Finish the glasses one color at a time and continue after the completion screen.

Progression

Rainbow Sort tracks completed levels, score and assistance inventory. Its Pi integration supports session restoration, leaderboard results and optional in-game boosters. Completing a sorting puzzle is independent of the account-level XP displayed by PortalPi.

Playing tips

• Preserve temporary storage: an empty glass can be more useful than an early partial grouping.
• The game pours the contiguous top-color group that fits, so check capacity before committing.
• A special container can receive only its target color and cannot act as a source glass.
