About Birdie Branches

Bird Sort is a sorting puzzle in which groups of matching birds move between branches. A branch holds up to four birds, and a completed group contains four birds of the same type. Your choices change which birds are accessible and how much room remains for the next move.

Controls

• Tap a branch to select its available group of birds.
• Tap an empty branch or one whose accessible bird matches the selected group; the destination must have room.
• Use the displayed undo or extra-branch controls when assistance is available.

How to play

1. Inspect the birds exposed at the ends of the branches and identify matching groups.
2. Choose a source branch, then a compatible destination with enough space.
3. Bring four matching birds together, using the space opened by each move to uncover another group.
4. Continue until the level is completed, paying attention to a move allowance when one is shown.

Progression

Bird Sort connects to PortalPi through the shared game bridge. Your account can restore saved game progress, and the hub shows the game's level and score alongside your other PortalPi games.

Playing tips

• Keep an open branch available as temporary space instead of filling every branch immediately.
• Consider the group that a move will uncover, not only the group that you can transfer now.
• Check the destination before moving a group; a matching bird does not remove its space limit.
