About Block Puzzle

Block Puzzle Jewel is a classic block-placement puzzle with jewel-style pieces. You receive a set of shapes and drag them onto the board. Filling a complete row or column clears it and earns points. There is no time limit in the classic mode: the game ends when none of the remaining shapes fits anywhere on the board. Extra modes add a timer or bombs.

Controls

• Drag a shape from the tray below the board and drop it onto empty cells.
• Choose a mode from the main menu before starting a game.
• Use the pause button to save and leave a game in progress.

How to play

1. Look at all the shapes in the tray before placing the first one.
2. Place shapes so they complete full rows or columns.
3. Clear several lines at once for a bigger score.
4. Keep space free for large shapes; the game ends when no shape in the tray can be placed.

Progression

Classic mode is free. The other modes, including the timed mode and the bomb mode, are unlocked for a week or a month with PortalPi coins when you play from PortalPi Games. Your best score for each mode and a game in progress are saved to your PortalPi account, and finished games submit their score to the platform.

Playing tips

• Keep the centre of the board open; corners and edges are the best places for awkward shapes.
• Avoid leaving single empty cells that only a one-block piece could fill.
• In the timed mode, collect the extra-time pieces that appear on the board to extend the clock.
• In the bomb mode, every bomb counts down with each move. Clear the line that contains it before it reaches zero.
