About Save My Pet

Save My Pet is a drawing puzzle. Each level shows a pet in danger, usually from a hive of angry bees, and sometimes from lava, water or spikes as well. Before anything moves you draw a single line with your finger or mouse. When you lift it, the line becomes a solid object, the pet falls under gravity and the bees attack. Keep the pet safe until the countdown ends.

Controls

• Press and drag on the screen to draw a line.
• Lift your finger or release the mouse button to finish the line and start the level.
• Use the level selector to replay any level you have already unlocked.

How to play

1. Study the level: where the pet is, where the bees will come from and which hazards are below.
2. Draw one line that forms a wall, roof or shelter between the pet and the danger.
3. Release to start: the line, the pet and loose objects fall and settle under physics.
4. Watch the timer; if the pet is still safe when it reaches zero, the level is won.

Progression

The game contains a long series of handmade levels that unlock in order. When opened from PortalPi Games with your signed-in account, your current and unlocked levels are saved to the platform, finished and failed levels report a session score, and task progress counts toward the PortalPi daily tasks.

Playing tips

• You only get one line, so draw it completely before you release.
• A closed shape such as a dome or a box over the pet protects it from several sides at once.
• Remember that the line falls too: anchor it on the ground or on a ledge so it does not tip over.
• Keep the line clear of lava, water and spikes; if your drawing pushes the pet into a hazard, the level is lost.
• Glass breaks shortly after something hits it, so do not rely on glass to hold up your shelter.
