About Sand Collect

Sand Collect is a colour-sorting puzzle built around a picture made of coloured sand. Buckets of different colours wait on a grid below the picture. Tap a bucket to send it onto a conveyor belt, where it scoops up exposed sand of its own colour. The belt has a limited number of places, so you must choose buckets whose colour can actually be collected. Empty all the sand to complete the level.

Controls

• Tap a bucket that has a clear path to the conveyor belt to send it there.
• Use the booster buttons below the board: extra belt slot, shuffle and magic wand.
• Use the pause button for sound settings or to return to the home screen.

How to play

1. Look at which sand colours are exposed at the edge of the picture.
2. Tap a bucket of an exposed colour; only buckets with an open route toward the belt can move.
3. Let the bucket travel along the belt and collect sand of its colour.
4. Keep sending useful buckets as new colours are uncovered, without filling every belt slot.
5. Finish when every grain of sand has been collected.

Progression

Levels unlock in order. When opened from PortalPi Games with your signed-in account, completed levels report a score to the platform, and the shop lets you exchange PortalPi coins for extra boosters.

Playing tips

• The level is lost when the belt is full and none of the buckets on it can collect any more sand, so do not send a colour that is still buried.
• Clear the buckets in front first; they open the path for the buckets behind them.
• Use the extra belt slot booster when you need one more bucket on the belt to reach the next colour.
• Shuffle rearranges the buckets when the ones you need are trapped at the back of the grid.
• The magic wand lets you pick a bucket that is blocked in, which is useful for a single missing colour.
