About Color Rope

Color Rope is a physics puzzle about connecting coloured ropes to the matching pegs. Each rope has a free end that you drag across the board. Ropes bend and wrap around posts and obstacles, so the path you choose matters as much as the destination. A level is complete when every rope end is pinned to the peg of its own colour.

Controls

• Press on the free end of a rope and drag it across the board.
• Release the rope end over the peg of the same colour to pin it.
• Use the level map in the menu to replay any unlocked level.

How to play

1. Look at all the rope ends and their matching pegs before moving anything.
2. Drag one rope end toward its peg, guiding the rope around the posts in its way.
3. Release it over the matching peg; a pinned rope stays in place while you work on the others.
4. Connect every rope to its peg before the level timer runs out.

Progression

Color Rope starts on a level map that unlocks levels as you complete them. When opened from PortalPi Games with your signed-in account, the map restores your progress, so you continue from the furthest level you reached. Each level has a countdown; optional PortalPi power-ups can freeze the timer for a few seconds or continue a level after time runs out.

Playing tips

• Connect the ropes whose paths are short and clear first; they are less likely to block the others later.
• Pull a rope around the outside of a post rather than across another rope that still has to move.
• If a rope snags on an obstacle, drag the end back and approach the peg from a different side.
• Check the timer: spending a few seconds planning is usually faster than undoing a tangled route.
